Maitreja

Maitreja is a not-for-profit organization that is developing high impact applications for social good. Its flagship platform, Mait.me, seeks to be a user-privacy first, meaningful-conversation-based alternative to social media. The Maitreja platform facilitates the exchange and sharing of content in a transparent, secure, and dignified manner for users through the use of blockchain technology.

It supports safe environments and attempts to utilize blockchain technology to secure its platform, services, privacy transparency, and a community platform. These objectives, according to Maitreja, shall facilitate the framing of a more transparent and accountable digital ecosystem.

Tokenomics

MAIT is an ERC-20 based token with a capped supply of 720 million. In the Maitreja ecosystem it is used as the means of exchange as the payment of a platform membership fee and the way to involve users in the decision making process. The idea behind this is to ensure the demand for the supply increases and so does its use, which helps in increasing its value and retains the users.

ICO Information

The ICO of Maitreja was released on the 15 of August 2023, with a capitalization of 90 million U.S. dollars. ICO was complete with target cap achieved. Additionally, they dedicate resources towards building out a platform, paying operating costs, and finding avenues for promotion, which allows for the long term health of the project.

Technology Features

Maitreja uses the following technologies in Mait technology stack: MySQL, JavaScript (JS), PHP, and Vue. me platform. Mobile apps are developed using Vue, Flutter and React and Firebase and Google Cloud. This rich and varied technology stack leads to a modular ecosystem where services are discrete, yet interconnected for the end-user.

The Maitreja roadmap illustrates the key objectives along the way to refining platform functionality and to grow community engagement.
