Mon Protocol

Mon Protocol is a Web3 platform that is building and publishing blockchain native games and intellectual properties (IPs). It aims to democratize gaming and encourages community involvement, positioning itself as a key player in the blockchain gaming space. With its chain-agnostic publishing platform, the protocol enables blockchain-native gaming projects to reach a wider audience, powering over 60 games and IPs.

Project Goals and Objectives

Mon Protocol desires to completely change the gaming ecosystem through incorporating blockchain technology into gaming ecosystems. It is for powering the gaming sector with blockchain, making it a key player of the Web3 ecosystem.

Tokenomics

The core component of Mon Protocol’s ecosystem is its own ERC-20 utility token, MON. This token ensures trade of transactions within the platform as well as being the publisher token of Mon Protocol as well as the ecosystem token for all of the games within the Pixelmon family.

ICO Information

The Community Pre-Sale of Mon Protocol concluded on February 28, 2024, raising $6.15 million. The round allocation resulted in 62.09 million MON tokens being distributed, each priced at $0.099 per MON token. The distribution plan was 20% unlock at the Token Generation Event (TGE), 6 months cliff to 2 years of linear vesting.

Technology Features

Mon Protocol runs on a blockchain-based IP and gaming platform and uses its own ERC20 utility token MON at the core of its ecosystem. Not only is this token a transactional token within the platform, it is also the publisher token for Mon Protocol and the ecosystem token for all Pixelmon games.

Team and Leadership

Mon Protocol team is made up of professionals from world leading gaming and technology companies such as from Ubisoft, Sony, Activision, Warner Media, Bandai Namco, Electronic Arts, Riot Games, Funplus, Jagex and Garena. Investors including Delphi Digital, Foresight Ventures, Animoca Brands, Sfermion, Mechanism Capital, Newman Group, Spartan, Amber, Merit Circle and Bitscale Capital back the project.

Roadmap

The roadmap of Mon Protocol consists in launching its own token on May 27, 2024 at the listing price of $0.39. There has also been a Launchpool event in which the project ended on May 27, 2024 with $78.6 million TVL. In the future, the plan is to develop and launch blockchain-native games and IPs in order to increase its own ecosystem and user base.
